What you did is helpful, but I was thinking more like this:

|Mob 1 =

|Mob 1 Count =

|Mob 1 Location =

|Mob 1 Sublocation =

And then add this line:

|Mob 1 Coords =

(Same for mobs 2 and 3). Would allow for easy contribution. As it is now, viewing a page like http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/w...

I figure the template would display like
Little Ladybug x3
Central Shroud - Jadeite Thick (X-Y)

If supplied the coords would just be right there. That was the original intent of my suggestion in having this template allow a spot for passing contributors to enter in coords.

What you did helps, but take for instance the linked example. Locations are listed but the only one that actually has coords is a fate-based entry and not any of the others, including the one the hunting log is steering you towards. So you want to contribute and add coords, right? But you click 'edit this page' and you're met with the template where there's nowhere to put the coords in. Seems like the locations are pulled from elsewhere and it's not so easy to just put in a quick data. That's why so many people comment with coords rather than edit the wiki and put it in themselves!

Of course the BEST page to have coords on (for hunting log purposes anyway) would be this one: http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/w...

That way you view the coords for the whole page of the log at the same time instead of one by one navigating to each in turn.

But that also looks like a generated table or something. I'm not familiar with the code you use here to be able to read it well. It doesn't look like it's easily contributed to, at any rate. =/

Am I making sense at all? Sorry if I'm confusing!
