The lower lvl wyverns have a nice farming "circle" located approx at x:9 y:36 if you look for a spot to be able to kill them one by one in a neverending chain if you kill the earth spirits on the way as well. If you, like me, didn't bother to level mining or anything that would provide lots of crystals to the leatherworking it might be useful to know that earth spirits are by the lower lvl wyverns, and wind spirits are by the elder ones. If you plainly look for skin, from what it seemed when I farmed, the elder wyverns seem to have higher drop rate. It might be worth taking the extra time to kill them, whilst the normal wyverns mostly drop wings if they care to drop anything at all.
