We get 90% of our desynthing info from FF14Angler. At the time I added that info, it showed that you could get the sandals from this fish... I just went there after seeing your comment, and they removed that info :( Removing from here! Sorry for any problems that might've caused D:

A bit late but call me weird if you want-I actually enjoy all of the quests. Thanks to this site I know that I'm 3-5 quests shy from getting to HW and that means getting my new classes. I feel bad for Tataru though-I actually wanted her to become proficient in some class and contribute as another powerhouse character in the story but too bad. She gave up when the blue one ran lol

This quest is currently bugged. I grinded the correct location, the correct bait within a 24 hour Eorzea time period and consumed almost 70 bait with zero results.
Save yourself grinding 2 full Fisher levels like i did (40 to almost 42). Just buy the thing off the market board.
